The Yard Position Comes Due First

Before any terminal deploys an AI yard planner, it must first audit how often its system knows where a box actually is — a number no port has yet published. The Felixstowe nGen disruption of 2018 shows what happens when that assumption goes untested: position errors propagate through every downstream layer at full speed. AI slop debt in port logistics compounds downward through a table of dependencies, and the bottom row must be settled first.
